1. Product Overview
Spring & Wear Steel Strip is manufactured from high-carbon and alloy spring steels through controlled rolling and heat treatment. In the quenched and tempered condition, it provides high elastic limit, high yield strength, excellent fatigue resistance and good resistance to abrasive wear.
The strip is suitable for applications where repeated bending, tension, clamping or impact occurs. It can be supplied in annealed condition for further forming and heat treatment, or in QT condition for direct use. The material selection can be optimized for strength, toughness, wear resistance, fatigue life and cost.
Core grades:
-
51CrV4 — Cr-V alloy spring steel for high-load, large-section springs
-
65Mn — Mn alloy spring steel for cost-effective springs and wear parts
-
C75 — high-carbon spring steel for tension, clamping and flat springs
-
C75Cr1 — Cr-alloyed high-carbon steel for wear resistance and cutting applications
-
75Ni8 — Ni-alloyed spring steel for high toughness and impact resistance
Material system synergy:
C75, C75Cr1, 51CrV4 and 75Ni8 are already used in our woodworking saw blade material system. This provides proven processing experience, stable material sourcing and consistent quality control across related product lines.
